Muslims to be part of Christians' peace march in Jaipur

Jaipur, Mar 20 (UNI) Muslims would join a peace march here on Mar 21 to protest against attacks on Christians in Rajasthan.

The march would be organised by Christian institutions and various activist groups and would wind its way through the various parts of the state capital.

State president of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Engineer Mohammed Saleem termed Kota's Emmanuel Mission International's (EMI) chairman Samuel Thomas arrest over controversial book 'Haqeeqat' as 'unfortunate' and said the state government was targeting the EMI and Christian community at large.

He added that the book was only an excuse to persecute Christains in Rajasthan. He said Muslims supported the cause of Christians in the state and would show solidarity by joining the march.
