MP to donate Rs one cr for mandap construction

Tirupati, Mar 20 (UNI) Chittoor Member of Parliament and Industrialist D K Adikesavulu has announced a donation of Rs one crore for the construction of Asthanamandapam at Kanipallam Temple, about 70 kms from here.

He made the announcement after offering worship at Lord Varasiddhi Vinayaka Temple yesterday during which he offered a valubale silver Kavacham (covering) to the Lord.

The mandapam will facilitate the conduct of cultural programmes and religious discourses, he added.
