Mob set fire coach of a spl train in West Bengal
Barrackpore, Mar 20 (UNI) Irate mob aided by some musclemen tonight set fire a coach of a special ticket checking train " Chetna" at Barrackpore station of Sealdah division of Eastern Railway, police said.
The mob vandalised the coach and set fire a rake after some checking staff along with RPF jawans allegedly assaulted a ticketless traveler at the station. The injured traveller was taken to a local clinic.
Three fire tenders arrived on the spot to douse the blaze.
Tension ran high after the fire and additional force was deployed to restore the order.
Three local trains were detained following the incident.
