Kidnappers of Agra student arrested, boy rescued

New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) Police have arrested three persons, including a teenager, in connection with the last month kidnapping of a 12-year-old boy from Agra.

Nitin Pratap alias Bablu (24), Ajay (24) and Kamal Chaudhary alias Chintu (18) were arrested yesterday from Kapashera on Old Gurgaon Road in South-West Delhi after an exchange of fire with the police team, acording to the police.

Two weapons of different bores were recovered from them.

The kidnapped boy Bholu, who was picked up while he was on his way to his school in Agra on February 17 last, was later recovered from Noida. He had been taken to Mainpuri, Etawah, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Hardwar and Rishikesh by the abductors befare reaching Noida.

The had demanded Rs 50 lakh from his father who was a contractor.
