Jessica's father in ICU following brain haemorrhage

New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) Father of slain model Jessica Lall has been admitted to the intensive care unit of a private hospital in neighbouring Gurgaon following brain haemorrhage.

Mr Ajit Lall, father of deceased Jessica Lall who had reportedly been shot dead on April 29, 1999 while serving liqour at a party in a restaurant allegedly by Manu Sharma, was admitted to the Unkal Hospital in Gurgaon's DLF Phase-I.

He is in the intensive care unit and is being kept under watch, said a hospital source.

Mr Lall, who had been admitted to the hospital two days back as he had not being keeping well, had developed complications soon after his wife died in 2000 -- a year after their daughter was murdered in 1999.

He had been bed ridden for the past several months and was being looked after by his second daughter Sabrina.

Model Jessica Lall was shot dead in Tamarind Court, a posh south Delhi restaurant owned by a prominent socialite around midnight allegedly by Manu Sharma, son of Haryana minister Vinod Sharma, for refusing to serve alcohol at a restaurant after drinking hours.
