HCL Comnet to manage Marico's network, security infrastructure

New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) HCL Comnet, an IT services management company, today said it has signed a deal with FMCG company Marico Ltd to manage their network and security infrastructure.

As part of the engagement, HCL will also upgrade Marico's existing VSAT network to a terrestrial MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) network.

With the signing of this deal, HCL Comnet becomes Marico's single point contact for its Major part of Network and complete Security infrastructure requirements.

Transition of Marico's existing VSAT network to MPLS network would not only augment its application response, ensure consistency and predictability, but also optimise its bandwidth utilisation while maintaining stringent Service Level Agreements.

In addition, HCL Comnet would also manage Marico's network and security infrastructure, integrate their systems, link procurement and management, manage trouble shooting and vendor management in order to drive efficiency and productivity in its IT Infrastructure.
