Miami, Mar 20 (UNI) Form deserted Daniel Chopra in the final round as the Indian-born Swede crashed to tied 59th after a horrendous six-over 78 in the five million dollar Bay Hill Invitational here.

Barring the birdies on the ninth and 14th holes, nothing went right for Chopra who had the worst possible start to his day as he double-bogeyed his first hole and towarda the end dropped five shots over the final three holes, including a triple bogey on the 18th preceded by back-to-back bogeys on the 16th and 17th. His four-day total stood at two-over 290.

Meanwhile, Fijian Vijay Singh dropped just one shot on his way to a three-under 69 in the final round, which saw him jump to the seventh spot with an overall total of nine-under 279.

At the top, Australian Rod Pampling (274) maintained his one shot lead over England's Greg Owen to take the honours. Pampling had a level-par round but that was enough for him to clinch the title.

American Tiger Woods (284) also improved his position to finish tied 20th but his performance, including a level par final round, was hardly impressive.
