Chandy's mother passes away

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 20: Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy's mother Baby Chandy died here early this morning (Mar 20, 2006).

She was 85. She is survived by two sons, including Mr Chandy and a daughter. Her body was taken to Puthupally in Kottayam for last rites.

The funeral will take place at the Puthupally St George Church tomorrow.
