BJP working committee member found dead on tracks

Mahoba, Mar 20 (UNI) The mutilated body of Uttar Pradesh BJP working committee member Hemand Sharma was found on railway tracks near Belatal Railway Station in the district.

Police, however, said prima facie it appeared to be a case of suicide.

According to sources, Sharma had ventured out in the early morning hours for his routine walk and was run over by the 1524 Manikpur-Jhanshi Shuttle Train.

Villagers grazing their cattle later informed police about the incident.

Investigations are on.
