AP DGP condemns naxals attack on Dalits

Hyderabad, Mar 20 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Swaranjeet Sen has condemned yesterday's killing of two Dalit youth by CPI (Maoist) naxals in Prakasham district.

According to a press release here today, Mr Sen said 'it pains me to know that Maoists out of absolute frustration and deprived strategy picked up those who were defenceless, innocent and deprived children from social welfare hostels to show their might'.

Stating great exponents of civil liberties had still not condemned such inhuman and cowardly acts by Maoists, he said such behaviour on the part of various sympathisers to the cause of Maoists only eloquently described their bankruptcy of ideology and strategy.
