New Delhi, Mar 19 (UNI) Delhi Police have nabbed three youths on charges of making hoax phone calls to the police control room that bombs had been planted in a five star hotel which had denied them entry into its discotheque.

Addressing a press conference here, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Ajay Kumar said the police arrested Vinesh Tomar, Shivraj Singh and Arjun Shah for allegedly making calls to the PCR on phone number 100 and giving the false information on March 8 and 9.

The three youths were denied entry to the discotheque as they were not accompanied by lady companions, which is mandatory.

In an act of revenge, they made false calls to the police to harass the hotel authorities and the revellers at the discotheque.

The hotel had lodged a complaint with the police as the visitors to the discotheque were being disturbed for searching the premises.

As the offence is non-cognizable, the police had to seek the permission of the Court to carry out the probe.

The accused will be produced before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) tomorrow.
