Pakistan-made carbine seized in Munger, seven arrested

Munger, Bihar, Mar 19 (UNI) Police today seized one Pakistan-made carbine and three highly sophisticated firearms from the possession of seven criminals under Town police station in the district.

Police Superintendent Ravindra Shankaran said acting on tip-off a sleuth of local police raided a hotel and arrested seven smugglers with sophisticated firearms, including a Pakistan-made carbine.

Mr Shankaran said the smugglers were being interrogated to ascertain their criminal network and also how they succeeded to procure Pakistan-made carbine.
