One dead, three injured in building collapse in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Mar 19 (UNI) One person died and three others were injured when a single-storeyed building collapsed near Saijpur Bogha tower in Naroda area of the city today, Divisional Fire officer D R Verma said.

The incident took place around 1100 hrs when some repair work was being carried out in the building, he told UNI here.

Rescue operations by fire brigade teams are still on, he said.

Though the victims are yet to be identified, sources said they could be labourers working in the building.
