MP govt to constitute Kisan Kalyan Ayog

Gwalior, MP, Mar 19 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to constitute a ''Kisan Kalyan Ayog'' for farmers for promoting agriculture, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said today.

Mr Chouhan told reporters here that the decision to form the commission has been taken with the objective of making agriculture a lucrative profession. The way will be cleared for constituting the Ayog at a cabinet meeting on March 21.

''I feel justice has not been meted out to peasants in our country. The decision to constitute Kisan Kalyan Ayog has been taken keeping this in mind,'' he added.
