Labourer's demand for wages results in death

Jaunpur, Mar 19 (UNI) A labourer has allegedly been bludgeoned to death by two people in Nevadhia area here for demanding his due wages.

Police said here today that Danke Mushar (35), worked as a labourer in the house of Mahesh and Ganesh in Dhanethu village. Last evening when he demanded his due wages from the two Mushar was allegedly beaten to death by them.

A case has been registered against Mahesh and Ganesh and raids conducted at many places to nab them, police added.

Action will also be initiated against the duo under the National Security Act (NSA), police said.
