Khaleda Zia carries 'saris' as gift for Indian leaders

Dhaka, Mar 19 (UNI) Bangladesh Prime Minister Khaleda Zia will carry exclusive Tangail Jamdani saris and paintings as gift for Indian leaders as mementos on her landmark trip to New Delhi.

According to reliable sources, some of the traditional saris were specially ordered with artistic designs while others were special collections.

Prime Minister Khaleda Zia would leave tomorrow on three-day official visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Finance Minister M Saifur Rahman, Foreign Minister M Morshed Khan, Foreign Affairs Advisor Reaz Rahman and senior officials will accompany Ms Khaleda Zia.

Besides, a 40-member business delegation will accompany the Prime Minister.
