Four killed, five injured in Ahmedabad-Mumbai highway accident

Anand, Mar 19 (UNI) Four people were killed and five others injured this evening when their tempo collided head-on against a tanker near Vasad village on Ahmedabad-Mumbai highway, about 15 km from here.

The victims, all residents of different villages of Anand district, were travelling in the tempo to Anand when the accident took place near a sharp bend.

Among the dead three have been identified as Gulabsinh Parmar, Leelaben Patel, Chhatrasinh Parmar . The fourth is yet to be identified.

The injured have been rushed to a local hospital.
