Mr Munjal said these development projects would also provide basic eminities such as water, sanitation, education and health to the crores of Indians living in remote areas.

''In the last 15 years, India's growth rate has been among the top six in the world...we have the potential to transform the world economy in the next decade,'' he elaborated.

Commenting on business ethics and essentials, he said perseverance, team work, time management and taking failures in stride go a long way in charting a successful corporate journey.

The convocation was also addressed by Institute Director Dr Devi Singh and Hari Shankar Singhania, Chairman of Board of Governors, II M-L.
