Chopra improves to tied 30th, shares spot with Woods

Miami, Mar 19 (UNI) Indian-born Swede Daniel Chopra put up an improved three-under 69 to move up to join tiger woods at tied 30th spot after the third round of the five million dollar Bay Hill Invitational here.

With a three-day total of four-under 212, the former Asian Tour regular moved up nine places on the leaderboard. Tiger Woods was down five places after a disappointing, by his standard, one-under 71.

Chopra's only disappointment of the day was a bogey on the fifth hole after having gained a shot on the preceding hole. He ended his front nine with a birdie and had a bogey-free backward journey during which he fired back-to-back birdies on the 15th and 16th holes.

Meanwhile, Fijian Vijay Singh leaped to tied 14th with a flawless four-under 68, hitting four birdies -- three of them coming in his back-nine. Singh has an overall total of six-under 210.

At the top, Australian Rod Pampling (212) overtook American Lucas Glover with a round of 67. Glover (207) put on a level par performance to slip to tied second at the leaderboard.
