Blasts heard in Iraq's Kerbala as pilgrims gather

KERBALA, Iraq, Mar 19 (Reuters) Loud explosions were heard in the southern Iraqi city of Kerbala today as thousands of Shi'ites gathered for one of the biggest events of their religous calendar.
