Bellary records highest temperature of 36.7 degree celsius

Bangalore, Mar 19 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hrs here today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Maximum temperatures rose at many places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Minimum temperatures rose at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at many places over North Interior Karnataka and below normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Bellary recorded highest maximum temperature of 36.7 degree celsius and Belgaum AP recorded lowest minimum temperature of 17.9 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Tuesday morning: Mainly dry weather may prevail over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Mainly dry weather may prevail over all districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Mainly clear skied. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 32 degree celsius and 19 degree celsius respectively.
