Advani Yatra to target UPA communal politics: BJP
Hyderabad, Mar 19 (UNI) The twin national integration yatras by senior BJP leader L K Advani and party president Rajnath Singh from April 6, were an effort to expose the communal politics of the UPA government and its soft policies towards terrorism, BJP national spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said today.
Addressing a press conference here, he said the yatras would reinforce the feeling of 'one people-one country' and strengthen national unity through the policy of 'justice for all and appeasement of none'.
Alleging that the UPA was a ''Secular Fundamentalist'' which was adopting divisive politics by appeasing the Muslims to garner votes, he said it was giving constitutionally unacceptable reservation to Muslims and denying the constitutionally guaranteed reservation to the SCs and STs.
Stating that the UPA government was pursuing ''soft policies'' towards terrorist activities in the country, Mr Prakash said the yatra would also highlight the government's faliure to control Naxal violence in Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring states.
