YSR thanks Pawar for selecting Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Mar 18 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy thanked Union Minister for Agriculture Sharad Pawar for announcing that the National Fisheries Development Board will have its headquarters in Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Pradesh was the appropriate place in the country as 80 per cent of India's aquaculture was being carried, out both in fresh water and marine environment, in the state yesterday.
The chief minister, who was also chairman of the working group, Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries, was chairing a meeting of the group.
AP Agriculture Minister N Raghuveera Reddy and officials attended the meeting.
