Uma demands foodgrains to affected farmers at minimum price

Betul, MP, Mar 18 (UNI) Expelled BJP leader Uma Bharti today demanded that foodgrains be provided at minimum price to farmers and labourers, who suffered severe damages due to recent unseasonal rainfall and hailstorm in Madhya Pradesh.

Ms Bharti told reporters here today that unseasonal rainfall and hails had pushed farmers and labourers below poverty line. Their suffering was intensified with no relief reaching them, she added.
