TDP leader killed by rival faction

Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, Mar 18 (UNI) A Telaugu Desam Party (TDP) party leader was axed to death by a rival faction at Tadipatri in Anantapur district today.

Police said the TDP district leader Rajendar Reddy was going tohis house with his wife when six persons attacked him with weapons near the bus stand.

Mr Reddy died on the spot. The assailants escaped from the spot.
