One killed in inter-factional clash

Kohima, Mar 18 (UNI) An FGN cadre was killed and another injured in a clash with Naga National Council (NNC) activists at Phek town last night.

Official sources today said the 'Federal Government of Nagaland' cadre retaliated with gun fires, which continued for about fifteen minutes.

The Deputy Commissioner of Phek convened a security coordination meeting to take stock of the situation.

The meeting also decided to deploy additional security personnel of Nagaland Armed Police (NAP), District Executive Force (DEF) and Assam Rifles to control the situation.
