One held for peddling drugs, two for selling fake spare parts

Vijayawada, Mar 18 (UNI) Police arrested three persons, one for selling intoxicating drugs and two others for selling fake motor vehicle parts here today.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police S M Vali Mukaram Solanki, hailing from Rajasthan, used to sell banned narcotic drugs in the form of chocolates.

He said police arrested him acting on information that drugs were being brought from Rajasthan and sold here since the last three months.

Police also seized 20 blue film cassettes from his possession.

The ACP said two more persons, P Babulal and P Gopal, were held for selling fake motor vehicle parts branded in the name of a well known company.

The duo used to bring the fake parts from Delhi, he said.
