Naxals kills villager in Chhattisgarh

Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, Mar 18 (UNI) A man was shot dead by Naxalites at village Paniajob, under Bortalab police station area late last night.

Additional Superintendent of police Balaji Sonwara today said a group of armed naxalites reached village Paniajob after midnight and fired two rounds at Devkumar Sahu, 35, killing him on the spot.

Later, the naxalites fled from the village.

He said the police investigations are underway.
