National award for AP hydel project

Hyderabad, Mar 18 (UNI) The centre has selected the Upper Sileru Hydro-Electric Project (4 x 60MW) for the National Meritorious Performance Award for 2004-05.

The Project was selected based on generation of 544 Million Units against an annual target of 380 MU(approved by the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission), a release from th State Generation Corporation Ltd(Genco) here today said.
