Mah Govt to consider economic viability of public undertakings
Mumbai, Mar 18 (UNI) Maharashtra Minister of State for Finance Dr Sunil Deshmukh today said all the state corportion bodies would not be closed and economic viability of each would be taken into consideration before taking any decision.
Replying to the discussion on the Maharashtra State Public Undertakings (restructuring and special mention) (improvement) bill, Dr Deshmukh said the bill states for economic discipline and the reorganisation or restructuring will be done after considering economic viability.
Dr Deshmukh also said the goverment has a binding to take the decision of the expert committee recommdnations, which was appointed to look into the sick bodies within the three months.
Finally the bill was passed.
