Govt to maintain already stable tax structure: FM

New Delhi, Mar 18 (UNI) Finance Minister P Chidambaram today informed the Lok Sabha that the revenue collection has been steadily increasing and the government was determined to maintain the growth rate.

The Finance Minister, while moving the Finance Bill for consideration in the House, said the government did not like to tamper with the tax structure which was ''stable and moderate''.

He said the government had also identified certain industries like textiles, manmade fibre, leather, paper and food processing to boost their growth.
