Garhwal Rifles launches its website

Dehradun, Mar 18 (UNI) The Garhwal Rifles and Garhwal Scouts has launched their website 'www.GRRC.welfare.org' to help ex-servicemen and their dependents know about various welfare schemes.

The site was launched last evening by the Regiment's Colonel Commandant Lt Gen Mohan Chandra Bhandari at the Garhwal Rifles Regimental Centre at Landsdown in Pauri district.

Speaking on the occasion, Lt Gen Bhandari said that the website would help the ex-Garhwal Rifles soldiers and their families and widows settled in India and abroad to access and obtain information about the various schemes initiated by the centre and State government for their welfare.

''It would also help other people to know about the gallant history of Garhwal Rifles,'' he added.
