Delhi police nab criminal involved in 18 kidnapping

New Delhi, Mar 18 (UNI) The Delhi Police, in an encounter, at East Delhi tonight shot at a notorious criminal involved in 18 cases in Delhi, Haryana, UP and Rajasthan.

Ashok alias Bunty, who was wanted by the poice in the four states in 18 cases of kidnapping for ransom, was injured in an encounter with the Special cell of the Delhi police at the DDA Sports complex at Dilshad Garden in East Delhi at about 2215 Hours, police said.

He was admitted to a nearby hospital in a serious condition, they said.
