Day temp oscillates between below and above normal temperatures

Pune, Mar 18 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of coastal Karnataka and were above normal in some parts of Kutch and southcoastal Tamil Nadu. They were markedly below normal some parts of Haryana and were appreciably below normal in Vidarbha, Chattisgarh and in some parts of Orissa, east Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajshtan, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Mharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana interior Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Haryana and were below normal in Jharkhand and in some parts of Bihar, Uttarnchal, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, north interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of east Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajshtan, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, interior Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka. They were normal in rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in coastal and south interior Karnataka and were below normal in Orissa, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and in some parts of Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Haryana,Kashmir, south east Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, south Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and north Chattisgarh. They were appreciably above normal in some parts of east Assam, northwest Rajasthan and were above normal in Manipur, Gujrat, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalseema. They were normal in rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Andaman and Nicobar and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Dry weather will pevail mainly in West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissaa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh State and Karnataka.

Rain or thunderrshowers have occurred at a few places in Andman and Nicobar and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalseema.
