Cong leader surrenders

Pondicherry, Mar 18 (UNI) A Congress leader from Lawspet today surrendered before the Judicial Magistrate-2 Mr Eswaran in connection with an arrrest warrant issued against him.

Two days back, the Congress leader Kasilingam had taken out a procession to file his application at the PCC(I) office to seek Congress ticket from Lawspet. As it blocked road traffic, a police constable objected to it, leading to an altercation.

Police registered a case against the congress leader and the court issued an arrest warrant against him.
