Case filed over pamphlets glorifying magic healing

Patna, Mar 18 (UNI) A case was filed in a local court today seeking issuance of instructions against a group of processionists, charged with circulating objectionable pamphlets glorifying magic healing.

The case was filed under various sections of IPC and the Drugs and Magic Remedies (objectionable advertisment) Act.

Swami Ramdeo and about 50 Vaidyas of Divya Yoga Mandir Trust Hardwar are accused in the case, which was filed by mukhiya of Bali panchayat Gaurichack area of Patna district.

The Chief Judicial Magistrate of Patna Ms Shushma Sinha has fixed March 28, as the next date for hearing.
