Car blast rocks Srinagar bypass

Srinagar, Mar 18 (UNI) Militants today triggered a car blast on the Srinagar bypass targetting a security force convoy.

Official sources said militants parked an explosive laden car on the Srinagar-Baramulla bypass at Rawalpora here.

Militants detonated explosive device when security force vehicles were passing through the area. However, there was no report of any casualty.

The entire area has been cordoned off and senior BSF, CRPF and police officials have rushed to the spot.
