Blue bull shot, villagers cry for protection of wildlife

Hisar, Mar 18 (UNI) The Wildlife Protection Committee of Bishnois has demanded a strict action against the poachers in the back drop of increasing incidents of hunting in Haryana as a wild blue bull today succumbed to the injuries of the hunters here.

''A wild blue-bull, brought to the veterinary hospital of the deer park, Hisar today, succumbed to bullet injuries. The hunters had escaped when the villagers heard the shots and ran towards the spot at about 12 last night,'' a spokesman of the Committee here said.
