Air Chief Marshal Ahmad takes over as PAF Chief
Islamabad, Mar 18 (UNI) Air Chief Marshal Tanveer Mehmud Ahmad today assumed command of Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
He succeeds Kaleem Sadaat, who has retired after completing his three year tenure as Chief of the air staff.
Air Chief Marshal Sadaat handed over charge to Air Chief Marshal Ahmad in a change of command ceremony held here.
The new Air Chief served as Vice Chief of Air Staff prior to his promotion to the rank of Air Chief Marshal and appointment as the Air Chief a month ago.
