AAT and Touchriver Pictures to co-produce digital films

Hyderabad, Mar 18 (UNI) Access Atlantech Technologies (AAT) Ltd, Chennai and Touchriver Pictures (P) Ltd, Hyderabad, plan to co-produce digital films to target audiences of digital theatre, internet, mobile and other home entertainment devices.

Touchriver Pictures will take care of scripting, direction and post production, whereas AAT would contribute to the infrastructure and handle distribution, merchandise and publicity for the feature films.

Speaking on the joint venture yesterday, Co-head of Touchriver Pictures Rajesh Touchriver said, ''With over 225 digital theatres in the country and equivalent number coming up, digital films are be the future. I am highly impressed by the strategies and plans of AAT for distribution and publicity.'' ''This venture will aid our students to have a firsthand experience on nuances of feature film making in digital format for a global audience,'' AAT spokesperson added.
