Usha school to conduct selection trials on April 8

Kozhikode, Mar 17 (UNI) Screening talent capable of winning an Olympic gold medal for the country, the prestigious Usha School of Athletics (USA) will conduct a selection trial here on April 8 for coaching beginning later this year.

Girls born between 1993 and 1994 and interested in athletics are eligible for the trials, a release issued by the school here today.

The screening would be conducted by a panel of experts, including P T Usha, in the field, it said.

Those interested are required to reach the Koilandi Sports Council Stadium by 0800 hrs along with their bio-data and Rs 100 as registration fee, the release said.

Selected athletes would be provided all facilities, including boarding, food, education, sports kits, coaching and medical treatment, free of cost by the USA, the release added.
