Uma stresses on the need for amending RBC
Sagar, MP, Mar 17 (UNI) Expelled BJP leader Uma Bharti today stressed on the need for amending Revenue Book Circular in order to provide maximum benefit of crop insurance to farmers, who were suffering due to a heavy crop loss from unseasonal rainfall and hailstorm.
Ms Bharti told reporters here that she will write to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in this regard.
Emphasising on the need for providing immediate relief to affected farmers, she said she had taken some time out of her 'Janadesh Yatra' to visit the affected regions.
She described reports of postponing of her 'yatra' as ''false'' and ''conspiracy.'' On announcement of new party on March 21, Ms Bharti said floating of the party will not be announced in New Delhi and further strategies will be chalked out after discussion on the day.
The sadhvi discussed about the situation of crops with Sagar Collector Shivshekhar Shukla. She will visit Narsinghpur, Chhindwara and Seoni today.
