UK team to be star attraction at 'Indiasoft 2006'

Chennai, Mar 17 (UNI) A 35-member UK delegation will be the star attraction at 'Indiasoft 2006,' an international networking event in the country organised by the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council, which begins here from March 21.

The two-day event will bring together over 200 overseas buyers from 50 countries and an equal number of Indian IT companies.

Fast becoming a major global IT event, the exposition offered a platform for bagging BPO contracts, forging joint ventures and technology collaborations between the Indian and foreign firms, a release here said today.

ESC Chairman Nalin Kohli said ''we have got confirmation from 35 companies from UK visiting the show. This is an added attraction since it is the first time that a large contingent from the UK is participating at the IndiaSoft.
