Trading bandh for second day today due to labour strike

Mumbai, Mar 17 (UNI) Trading in wholesale sugar market remained shut for the second consecutive day today folowing the matahadi workers' strike among two rival unions, traders said.

No loading and unloading was done at the terminal markets in Vashi complex due to the strike. However, wholesale sugar market opened as usual but the rates were not available because of the ongoing agitation by the union, traders added.
