SPI to open new campus in Mysore

Mysore, Mar 17 (UNI) Leading city-based Information Technology Software Paradigms (India) Limited (SPI) will open its new state-of-the-art campus, ''SPICITY,'' built at a cost of Rs 80 crore, here tomorrow.

Addressing newspersons here, Company Chief Executive Officer Siddartha Mukherji said the first phase of the two lakh sq feet project had a built up area of 60,000 ft and the capacity to accommodate up to 1000 professionals.

This was SPI's first step towards implementing its aggressive growth plan over the next three to five years. The campus would carry out customised software development and maintenance, software product development along with business process outsourcing activities.

Increasing customer demand and the support given by the state government to promote IT activities had encouraged the company to expand its venture. Currently, SPI had around 350 knowledge workers based in the city and at various customer sites in the United States.

The company was aggressively positioning brand SPI in the US by adopting ambitious marketing strategies and ensuring wide publicity in Marquee Industry Magazines such as Computer World, besides participating in industry conferences.

Karnataka IT Secretary M K Shankaralinge Gowda would inaugurate the campus tomorrow.
