Singapore's education minister to visit India

Singapore, Mar 17: Singapore's Education Minister Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, will reach India for a two day visit tomorrow (Mar 17, 2006).

Mr Shanmugaratnam, who is also the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Singapore, will deliver a keynote address on Asian integration prospects at the Asia Society's 16th Asian Corporate Conference on March 19 in Mumbai.

Accompanied by officials from the Authority, Mr Shanmugaratnam will be meeting leaders of Indian financial institutions and educational institutions.
