Sikkim to host Children Science Congress

Vijayawada, Mar 17: The National Children Science Congress will begin in Sikkim on December 27.

Sikkim Science and Technology Secretary O P Sanghi, who visited the Regional Science Centre (RSC) here yesterday, said President A P J Abdul Kalam would be the chief guest.

Over 1200 students from various schools across the country would take part in the five-day event.

Mr Sanghi lauded the efforts of Andhra Pradesh Council of Science and Technology in establishing RSC, which contained various scientific models.

Similar RSCs would be set up in Sikkim, he added.
