Russian building collapse kills one, injures 8
MOSCOW, Mar 17 (Reuters) At least one person was killed and eight others were injured when parts an office building in the Siberian city of Tyumen collapsed after a gas explosion, Russian news agencies reported today.
An emergenies ministry spokeswoman was quoted by Itar-Tass news agency as saying the rubble had fallen onto a sports hall and more people could be trapped.
The injured, including six children, were taken to hospital, ministry officials said.
