Ranjan Yadav files nomination for Rajya Sabha

Patna, Mar 16 (UNI) LJP leader Ranjan Prasad Yadav today filed nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha seat.

The biennial election to six Rajya Sabha seats and to 11 seats of State Legislative Council in the state would be held on March 29.

Acting secretary to State Assembly and returning officer Brajkishore Singh Prabhat said that LJP leader Sanjay Singh filed nomination papers for the state Legislative Council.

Candidates can file their nominations at the Vidhan Sabha premises till tomorrow.

Scrutiny of nominations will be done on March 18, while the names can be withdrawn by 1500 hrs on March 20.
