Rajeev Shukla declares assets worth over Rs 2.4 cr

Mumbai, Mar 17 (UNI) Congress leader Rajeev Shukla, who is all set to be elected unopposed for yet another Rajya Sabha (RS) term from Maharashtra, declared assets worth more than Rs 2.4 crore in his affidavit filed for the biennial election.

He owns Rs 93.65 lakh worth of shares of BAG films, the software company owned by his wife Anuradha Prasad.

Mr Shukla, who is the retiring member of the Upper House of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh, has declared that he is a resident of 46, Shri Sanman Co-operative Housing society, Juhu-Versova link road in Four Bungalows, in suburban Mumbai.

While he possesses a Hyundai Accent worth Rs 6.5 lakh, his wife Anuradha is the owner of a Hyundai Accent and Wagon R cars. She posseses jewellery worth Rs 11,76,228, as per the affidavit.

The Congress leader, who is a post graduate in Arts stream, holds a degree in Law from Kanpur University. He owns two flats in South Delhi and Dwarka area of Delhi and a farm land and residential plot in Uttar Pradesh.

He also declared that he has Rs 4.2 lakh cash with him.
